Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for president, gave a press conference. President Bola Tinubu’s spokesperson, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, responded.
Atiku allegedly accused President Tinubu of forgery at the news conference held in Abuja, according to Naija News.
He added that he would continue to appeal Tinubu’s election victory until the Supreme Court issued a decision.
In a BBC interview, Abdulaziz claimed that there is no longer any hope of presenting any evidence against Tinubu to the Supreme Court.
He added that President Tinubu was unafraid of the Supreme Court case because Chicago State University had provided all the evidence required to support it.
According to Abdulaziz, “These statements by Atiku are a matter of sympathy for him because he shows that he is in confusion and does not even know what is happening.”
He continued by saying that Tinubu did not attend Chicago State University or that the document was phony anywhere on their website.
According to this fact, Atiku Abubakar, the PDP candidate, has made statements, many of which are critical and attempt to inform people in a way that will confuse them or perhaps lead to misunderstanding.
“Even a non-lawyer is aware that the courts of appeal are not the trial courts; rather, they are the courts that evaluate the national court’s decision to determine whether any errors need to be fixed or changed. evaluate or even verify it.”
If Atiku Abubakar believes he has any evidence to submit, according to Abdul’aziz, the ink is already dry.
He declared, “We have no worry because everything that needed to be done for what was required has already been done, and this school that is being discussed has supplied.
Then we are aware that whatever he does is ineffective and without foundation in law.
Atiku should now understand that the political chapter is over, and as President Tinubu has frequently stated, he should solely focus on the chapter of nation building, the spokesperson said.
