Rauf Aregbesola, the minister of interior, has declared strong support for Governor Babajide Sanwo-re-election Olu’s ahead of the March 18 governorship and state assembly elections in Lagos.
On March 12, the former Osun governor met with Igbo residents and All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwarts in the state to rally support for Sanwo-Olu.
Addressing stakeholders at his Ikeja residence on Sunday, Aregbesola urged them to ensure the party’s victory by embarking on various mobilization and door-to-door campaigns.

On Monday, March 13, President-elect Bola Tinubu will meet with senators and representatives-elect of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.
Some legislators had been spotted in towns ahead of the meeting, while others had confirmed their attendance.
Senate President Ahmed Lawan was among those seen in the country’s capital on March 13th.
