On Thursday morning, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to participate in the upcoming Saudi-Africa Summit scheduled for Friday. During the summit, President Tinubu will emphasize Nigeria’s dedication to attracting more Foreign Direct Investment and expanding business partnerships, which is strongly supported by the ongoing economic reforms implemented by his administration.
The inaugural Saudi-Africa Summit will also focus on collaborative efforts, political coordination, addressing regional security challenges, and promoting economic transformation through research and the local development of innovative energy solutions. These discussions aim to strengthen investment cooperation across various sectors. President Tinubu was joined by a delegation including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb Yusuf Tuggar; Minister of Education, Prof Tahir Mamman; Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Mr Wale Edun; Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr Betta Edu, and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Sen. Abubakar Bagudu.
