President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday held a private working lunch with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris.
The development was revealed by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a post shared via X.
According to him: “President Bola Tinubu, with his French counterpart, President Emmanuel Macron, during a working private lunch at the Élysée Palace, Paris. Wednesday, September 10, 2025.”
As of the time of this report, the details of their discussions have not yet been made public.
Tinubu had earlier embarked on his annual working leave on September 4, departing Abuja for a 10-working-day break. During the leave, he is expected to spend time in France and the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria.
