Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, gubernatorial aspirant in Lagos State and former minister of state for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, while speaking to members of a group campaigning for him, the K’oro Nation’ in Lagos on Tuesday accused a former governor of the state and national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu, of turning the state to his personal Automated Teller Machine, ATM, where he draws state funds for his personal needs whenever he wants.
His words:
“For almost 16 years, one man has turned all Lagosians to his ATM, how long can we continue to accept that,” he said.
He also described the the Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge as a fraud and the most expensive in world.
“Fashola’s Lekki to Ikoyi Bridge is the most expensive bridge in the world. The Lekki to Ikoyi Bridge was christened ‘Cable Bridge’, there is nothing cable about that bridge and the christening of the bridge ‘cable’ is a 419 act in itself”, he said.
Obanikoro, however, urged Lagosians to always ask questions about the policies and activities of the state government, saying, “Lagosians don’t ask questions, those who ask get abused.”
