President Bola Tinubu and the leadership of the organized labor in Nigeria are currently holding a private meeting to discuss a new national minimum wage for Nigerian workers. The discussion is anticipated to focus on the ongoing disagreement between the Federal Government and Labor regarding a new minimum wage.
President Tinubu is also expected to consider the government and private sector’s proposed ₦62,000 and the Organized Labor’s demand of ₦250,000.
