Afrobeats singer Timaya has raised concerns over the reported destruction of plants and farmlands by herders in his home state of Bayelsa.
Urging the government to take immediate action, he described the situation as deeply troubling.
The Dem Mama hitmaker also condemned open grazing, calling on herders to keep their cattle within ranches.
Taking to his X handle on Tuesday, he wrote, “The government needs to act. Farms in Bayelsa are being destroyed. Aboki, take your cows inside and feed them properly. This is heartbreaking.”
