Popular Nigerian TikToker, Peller, has opened up about an unexpected encounter with Bose Ogulu—Burna Boy’s mother and manager—after she seemingly ignored him at a recent fashion exhibition.
Peller, who graced the runway alongside his girlfriend, Jarvis, and other models, documented the event in a two-minute video shared on his page.
The video included behind-the-scenes footage and highlights from his time on the runway. However, the most talked-about moment was his brief interaction with Bose Ogulu.
In the clip, Burna Boy’s mother was seen exchanging greetings—shaking hands and hugging several attendees. However, when Peller extended a greeting toward her, she appeared to ignore him.
Looking surprised, Peller addressed the moment in his video, stating, “So, when we were leaving and taking pictures, a woman walked in, and I tried to greet her, but somehow, we didn’t. I’m sorry.”
The incident has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some debating whether the snub was deliberate or simply a misunderstanding. As of now, Bose Ogulu has yet to respond.
One social media user, @KING GREATNESS T.V, reacted: “That’s Burna Boy’s mother refusing to shake your hand—that’s really bad. She’s his manager, and I guess she has pride. Peller, you’ve shaken hands with people richer than her and her son, so don’t worry.”
Another user, @spendy 🔮🪩🪬🧿🦅 💵🤑💯, commented: “I didn’t like what Burna Boy’s mother did to Peller. The boy was humble and wanted to greet her—why ignore him? I don’t like this, seriously. And Peller didn’t even know who she was.”
