Victor Osimhen’s current form appears to be paying off, as he has been ranked the fourth most prolific striker in Europe’s top five leagues so far this season.
Osimhen, who has seven goals in eight league games this season, averaging a goal every 93 minutes in Serie A, finished fourth despite missing five weeks due to a hamstring injury.
The Napoli star trails Erling Haaland, Robert Lewandowski, and Kylian Mbappe in the new rankings.
While Manchester City’s Haaland has scored 17 goals in his first 11 EPL games, averaging a goal every 55 minutes, Barcelona’s Lewandowski is ranked second, with 13 goals in 12 games.
Mbappe is PSG’s third-leading scorer this season, with 11 goals. Terem Moffi, a Nigerian striker, is in fifth place after scoring eight goals in 12 Ligue 1 games.
Others include RB Leipzig’s Christopher Nkunku in sixth place, Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic in seventh place, and Tottenham’s Harry Kane in eighth place.
