A thief got more than he bargained for after he was apprehended by residents following a failed robbery operation this morning in Bayelsa. According to reports, a group of hoodlums allegedly tried to snatch a tricycle popularly called ‘Keke Napep’ from its owner before he raised an alarm at Saptex road in Yenagoa, the state capital.
The youths in the area gave the thieves a hot pursuit and
nabbed one in the process after his cohorts escaped. The young man was beaten mercilessly after his capture and was dragged to the police station.
