A comparison has been drawn between the marriages of two Nollywood legends, Olu Jacobs and the late John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, by a Twitter user identified as Ajinwa. This comes after the sudden passing of Mr Ibu on Saturday, March 2 following a cardiac arrest.
The Twitter user compared the late Mr Ibu’s marriage to that of Olu Jacobs, who is currently ailing and married to veteran actress, Joke Silva. According to the Twitter user, the same marriage that resulted in Mr Ibu’s death is the one currently sustaining Olu Jacobs, and he believes that the primary distinction between the two marriages is the quality of the wives they married.
He further asserted that Joke Silva is dedicated to loving and caring for a man who has forgotten her and their past experiences together.
His words: “Marriage failed Mr Ibu. The same Marriage is sustaining Olu Jacobs. The difference between these two marriages is the quality of wife they married. Joke Silva is committed to loving and taking care of a man who no longer remembers her or the times they’ve shared.”
