The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) leadership has set September 5, 2023, as the start date for a warning strike in protest of the unimaginable agony that Nigerians are currently experiencing as a result of the policy of subsidy elimination.
Following the union’s National Executive Council on Friday, Joe Ajaero, president of the NLC, made the threat.
In addition, Labour criticized the Federal Government for meddling in the activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), vowing to take all necessary measures to thwart further meddling.
The Imo State Government was accused of intervening in the activities of the apex workers organization.
