Alexer Peres, the former wife of singer Harrysong, has publicly announced that she is temporarily relinquishing custody of their two young children, aged four and three, citing overwhelming pressure and interference from the music star.
The Breaking Point
In a tearful video posted to her Instagram story on Thursday, Alexer revealed that she has been shouldering the parenting responsibilities alone since their separation. However, she claims the situation has become untenable due to constant harassment.
She stated:
“I didn’t plan to come on here, but I want this to serve as evidence that I’m making the hardest decision of my life. At this point, I have no option,”
Allegations of Frustration
Alexer accused Harrysong of showing up unannounced and deliberately making it difficult for her to care for the children, despite them only visiting him occasionally.
She said,
“This man has not let me rest. He frustrates my efforts and harasses me everywhere,”
A Temporary Goodbye
While she intends to address the allegations formally in court, she admitted that the current emotional toll is too heavy to bear. She clarified that this transfer of custody is not permanent, though she expressed deep worry that the children might end up being raised by domestic staff in their father’s absence.
She explained:
“I’m giving him custody for now. That doesn’t mean I won’t come back for my children,”
She added emotionally:
“No mother wants to live without her children, but I don’t know what else to do. I’ll always come back. I want you in my life,”
The couple, who tied the knot in 2021, have had a tumultuous public separation. Alexer officially declared the marriage over in January 2024, following a series of marital struggles that played out in the public eye.
