The Federal Government has made public the redesigned naira notes.
It was unveiled a few minutes ago at the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Godwin Emefiele, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, warned Nigerians against hoarding old notes, saying there is no going back on the January 31st, 2023 deadline to completely render the old notes ineffective.
The new notes have denominations of N1000, N500, and N200.
