General Musa gave this assurance on Wednesday during his visit to the 6 Division of Nigeria Army in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He told newsmen that his visit was to interact with the men and officers of the armed forces in the state, encourage them to do more, and remain professional.
General Musa further stated that the armed forces of Nigeria are dedicated to protecting the integrity of Nigeria, ensuring that democracy thrives, and providing adequate security during the forthcoming off-season governorship elections in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi States. He warned that no violence would be condoned, and those planning to cause trouble should steer clear of the states.
