Herbert Wigwe, the CEO of Access Holdings, his wife, and four others tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash in California. The incident occurred around 10pm on Friday near Boulder City, between Nevada and California. They took off from Palm Springs airport at approximately 8:45 pm, en route to Las Vegas, but the accident transpired before reaching their destination. Among the passengers were also the CEO’s son and the group chairman of the Nigeria Export Group, Abimbola Ogunbajo. Unfortunately, there were no survivors. Herbert Wigwe, who was 57 years old, served as the CEO and managing director of Access Bank Holdings after succeeding his business partner, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede.
