Laura Ikeji, a Nigerian brand influencer and entrepreneur, has called out a man who tried to scam her by using a fake alert to pay for items he bought from her store. She shared on her Instagram page the fake alert she received and a rear view photo of the man who attempted to scam her. The businesswoman explained how the man came into her store and purchased perfumes with the fake alert. Ikeji expressed gratitude to God that the man was unsuccessful and condemned the act of stealing from a young person in need like herself, especially during these difficult times. She urged the man to improve his ways, and promised not to expose his identity.
Her words: “This guy came to my store , bought perfumes and paid with fake alert. Thank God he didn’t succeed. My store will check and recheck before they give u stuff. But bro… I know the country is tough, we re all going through it, so coming to steal from struggling youth like me is demonic. U wanna steal, go to the government. They owe u not me. Won’t show ur face so do better. N my name is not Laura IKEJA 🤣🤣🤣. Mumu”
