Global pop star Taylor Swift has reassured fans that marriage won’t mark the end of her music career.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Radio 2, the “Life Of A Showgirl” singer addressed ongoing speculations that she might step away from music following her recent engagement to Travis Kelce.
Swift made it clear that getting married isn’t about giving up one’s passion or career. She emphasized that her fiancé fully supports her artistry and understands how much joy she finds in making music.
“Marriage isn’t about quitting your job. People love to panic, but I’m with someone who truly appreciates what I do and how fulfilled I am through creating art and music,” she explained.
The couple, who started dating in summer 2023, officially got engaged in August 2025.
With this clarification, Taylor Swift assures fans that her marriage will only strengthen, not stop, her creative journey.
