Venita Akpofure, a reality star on BBNaija, has opened up about her connection with Mercy Eke, a past contestant. Venita discussed her relationship with Mercy in an interview with Toke Makinwa on the Toke Moments. Even though Mercy and Venita were close during their time in the Big Brother Naija house, Venita claims that they are not friends. She revealed that because Mercy Eke is not a regular in her life, she only meets her once a year. Venita revealed that she only interacts with Mercy outside of the home on business-related or fan-related occasions when they have mutual friends. Venita said she was taken aback by the claims made by her followers that she had betrayed Mercy Eke, a friend. The single mother made it clear that they are merely coworkers.
