Following a two-year trial by the Beninese government, campaigner for the Yoruba Nation Chief Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has recovered his freedom. Recently, Igboho was freed from protective custody in the Republic of Benin, which is nearby. Sunday Igboho was recently released, and, according to the leader of the Yoruba Nation, Prof. Banji Akintoye, he is currently traveling to Germany to be with his family. Remember that Igboho was detained by the International Criminal Police Organization on July 19, 2021, while en route to Germany at the Cadjhoun Airport in Cotonou, Republic of Benin. He had left Nigeria after the Department of State Service (DSS) carried out a brutal raid on his Soka home in the capital city of Oyo State, Ibadan, and charged him of maintaining an arsenal.
