A 14-year-old boy named Donald is said to have used a simple shoelace as a homemade noose to end his own life. Many people are shocked and in astonishment at the occurrence, which happened on Saturday, October 28. Donald resided with his grandma and was known to be a resident of Ekondo Street. A close friend named Eyo told stories of how the day began seemingly routinely, with Donald finishing his morning tasks before heading out to purchase fufu, a cassava dish that is unique to the area. After Donald bought Fufu, the sad turn of events started when he failed to return home. His friends and family were worried about him being gone. At midday on that fatal day, his grandma, utterly distraught and unable to reach him, sent a carpenter for help. The carpenter showed up on time, but what he saw was startling beyond belief.
