When a PA for the hair retailer Priceless Hairs learned that she had actually sold Ilebaye, the winner of the BBN AllStars competition, a hair for the actual price, she sobbed in regret. Recall that Ilebaye had just collected her prize package after being named the winner of the BBN AllStars edition. A video posted by X user @symply_kim of the vendor's PA, Glory, ranting angrily to a friend about the price she charged the BBN winner for the wig can be heard. She claims the wig costs 300,000 Naira, but if she had known it belonged to Ilebaye, she could have raised the price to 600,000. She gave this justification: Ilebaye had recently won 120 million Naira, and it would only be right if she shared in some of the winnings. She acknowledges learning about the winner after overhearing a conversation between Ilebaye and her team members who came to make the purchase on her behalf. She further claims that her neighbor, a garments vendor, confirmed the identity of the winner because they were also recipients of her business. Glory asserts that Ilebaye wore the wig to an interview, but Priceless Vendors, the store's owner, has commented on Facebook that she would verify on Ilebaye's Instagram on her own behalf and that if Ilebaye did, in fact, purchase from them, she will receive a second wig as a present https://twitter.com/i/status/1710678774306455638 .
