Former BBNaija star and media personality, Natasha Akide, better known as Tacha, has stirred online conversations with her bold take on relationships.
Speaking on the Outside the Box podcast, Tacha advised young women not to focus all their emotions on a single man while dating.
The reality star, who previously claimed she pays £5K (₦10.3M) rent monthly in the UK, explained that keeping multiple options reduces the risk of heartbreak and disappointment.
“I tell girls, don’t just date one man. I still stand on it you need at least three boyfriends in your life,” she said.
Tacha clarified that she wasn’t encouraging promiscuity but promoting multiple talking stages for security in relationships.
“I’m not saying sleep with them, but let there be others you’re talking to. Even that one you’re dating, the heart of man is unpredictable,” she added.
Her statement has since triggered mixed reactions, while some criticized her for encouraging promiscuity, others agreed with her perspective.
One X user, @el_obisesan, argued, “She knows she’s no longer in her prime and most men won’t take her seriously. That’s why she’s trying to get women to share her misfortune.”
