The ongoing feud between U.S. music stars Nicki Minaj and SZA has escalated, with SZA clapping back with fresh claims after Nicki boasted about her greater success.
According to NAIJALOG, the drama began on Tuesday night when SZA appeared to throw subtle shade at Nicki, prompting the rapper to go on a rant on X, calling out TDE executive Punch in the process.
Minaj asserted that her global reach and musical accomplishments far outweigh SZA’s, even claiming to have performed in countries where SZA remains unknown.
In response, SZA posted a screenshot of alleged DMs between Nicki’s team and herself, suggesting that Nicki had reached out for a collaboration more than once.
Alongside the screenshot, SZA wrote: “You absolutely know my music and what I contribute cause you’ve asked for features twice to no response. In addition to rapping my lyrics on ‘Feeling Myself’—‘Cooking up the bass looking like a kilo’? Lol ur having a moment… I’m not sure why but be blessed.”
