Suspended Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has dared Senate President Godswill Akpabio to take legal action against her following her recent allegations of a death threat.
During an appearance on Politics Today aired on Channels Television Thursday night, Natasha reiterated her claim that Akpabio allegedly enlisted Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo to facilitate both her recall and assassination.
She alleged that Ododo initially told Akpabio the mission would be difficult due to her strong public support. According to her, Akpabio then turned to former Governor Yahaya Bello, instructing him to carry out the recall and eliminate her.
Natasha claimed that the plan was discussed at a meeting at the Hilton Hotel, where Senator Asuquo reportedly drove Yahaya Bello to the venue. She said financial transactions were involved.
“He asked Bello to oversee my recall and promised to fund it. But more shockingly, he instructed him to have me killed,” she alleged.
Responding to reports that Akpabio intends to sue her over the accusations, Natasha said, “Let him go ahead. If he wants to sue, we will cross that bridge when we get there.”
