Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has added 115 new aides to his staff, bringing the total number of aides in his administration to 196.
According to Daily Trust, Sanusi Bature, the governor’s chief press secretary, announced the most recent appointments on Friday, September 1, and Saturday, September 2.
According to Bature, 44 of the new hires—all social media activists—will work as senior special reporters and special reporters, with 14 serving as special advisers and 57 as senior special assistants.
On Saturday, September 2nd, Governor Yusuf posted a message on his X page, formerly known as Twitter, confirming the development. He wrote:
