Alex Iwobi, a midfielder for the Super Eagles, has reportedly fallen victim to a violent burglary at his residence in the United Kingdom, with items worth around £500,000 stolen.
According to reports, the attackers allegedly held him at knifepoint during the incident before proceeding to ransack the property.
Valuables taken from the home reportedly include luxury wristwatches, jewellery, two iPhones, a MacBook laptop, and about £200,000 in cash.
Authorities have since begun an investigation into the case.
Despite the incident, Iwobi featured for Fulham FC in their recent Premier League match, where they secured a 3-1 victory over Burnley FC.
