Popular media personality, Idowu Adeyemi, also known as Yhemolee, has urged couples to refrain from checking their partners’ phones in an attempt to catch them cheating.
Yhemolee, who recently married his longtime girlfriend, Thayour B, warned that checking a partner’s phone can be dangerous.
He highlighted that the revelations from such actions could lead to emotional distress or even have serious consequences on one’s well-being.
Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram account, Yhemolee said, “My friend called me this morning and told me his fiancée is in the hospital struggling to breathe.
“I asked if she had any terminal illness and he said no. He said she checked his phone overnight. My point is, stop checking your partner’s phone, if you die, the person that made you lose your life will move on.
“My friend confirmed to me that if his fiancée went through his phone very well, she might not survive and even if she survives, whenever she remembers what she saw, she would be traumatised.”
