Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Solomon Dalung, went on an inspection tour of The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camp in Kubwa, Abuja on Monday.
Speaking after the tour, Dalung said:
“I took out time today to diligently do the step by step inspection of facilities,the kind of food served to the corps members, the medical facilities available, the drugs made available to them and also the quality of the service in that regard, their hostels and also the kind of beds provided, their sanitary environment and all that involves their wellbeing.
It was an exercise that has sufficiently equipped me with first knowledge different from a 2nd or 3rd party information. I have noted areas of genuine concerns and we shall treat them with the immediate priority they deserved.”
