Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has stirred reactions online after a video surfaced showing him negotiating the price of a coffin for fellow artist Portable.
This comes after a recent online feud between the two, sparked when Speed Darlington invited Portable to perform at his upcoming show. Portable, however, dismissed the offer, accusing Speed Darlington of using his name for publicity. He further claimed that his performance fee is N20 million, implying that Speed Darlington couldn’t afford him.
In response, Speed Darlington expressed regret over the invitation and criticized Portable. He also recalled an incident where Portable allegedly suffered a beating from a friend due to financial exploitation, threatening to release footage to embarrass him.
Days after their exchange, Speed Darlington shared a video of himself bargaining with an undertaker over the price of a coffin for Portable. Alongside the clip, he wrote:
“@portablebaeby, are you ready to die for refusing to attend my show on April 13th?”
