Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina, a South African national, has gained widespread backing from South Africans as she officially enters the Miss Universe Nigeria contest.
It’s worth noting that Chidimma previously competed in the Miss South Africa 2024 pageant but faced criticism from some South Africans due to her Nigerian heritage.
Since transitioning to Miss Universe Nigeria, where she represents Miss Taraba, Chidimma, a former Miss SA finalist, has seen growing support from her fellow South Africans.
The model, who was born in South Africa, decided to join the Miss Universe Nigeria competition after stepping down from Miss South Africa 2024.
