Sophia Momodu, Davido’s estranged baby mama, has broken her silence on the ongoing misinformation surrounding their daughter, Imade, setting the record straight about recent online claims.
In a detailed message posted on her Instagram story, Sophia reassured the public that her daughter is thriving happy, healthy, and surrounded by love.
She explained that she has been Imade’s primary caregiver for the past five years, personally handling all expenses except school fees, which have been graciously covered by the child’s paternal grandparent.
Responding to circulating claims about child support, Sophia made it clear:
“I haven’t received any child support from Davido, but our child knows no lack. She is growing in a safe and loving environment and is very happy.”
She added that she has dropped all past and future child support requests, choosing to bear full financial responsibility herself.
Sophia also emphasized that Imade enjoys a positive relationship with both parents and urged the public to stop involving her child in false narratives spread online.
Her clarification follows accusations from a 
critic who claimed she stopped Imade from attending Davido’s 33rd birthday celebration in Atlanta.
