Popular social media critic Verydarkman has responded to a viral video in which a young man claimed to be his estranged younger brother. The critic firmly rejected the allegations, asserting that there is no familial connection between him and the individual.
The viral video featured a man alleging abandonment by Verydarkman, citing a resemblance and familial ties. However, in a detailed video response, the critic refuted the claims, describing them as unfounded.
“I wouldn’t have addressed this, but due to the attention it’s gaining, I need to clarify for the record. This man provided no valid details about his identity or connection to me. Resembling me or copying my style doesn’t make him my brother,” Verydarkman stated.
He also revealed his real brother’s identity as Mark Vincent Otse and cautioned the public against offering support to the alleged impostor.
“If, in the future, we have disagreements and you decide to support my real brother, that’s fine—but my brother is Mark Vincent Otse. Don’t give this man money because I have no idea who he is,” he added.
The rebuttal has sparked widespread online reactions, with many commending Verydarkman’s candid approach. Some, however, have called for further investigation to ensure no misunderstanding exists.
The young man involved in the controversy has yet to provide additional evidence to back his claims.
