Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello, has stated that social distancing is practically impossible in most urban areas in Nigeria.

Kogi and Cross Rivers are the only states with no confirmed cases of COVID19, and according to Yahaya Bello the social distancing policy being canvassed by the Presidential taskforce and the NCDC as part of measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus, is a ”practical impossibility” in most urban areas in Nigeria.

He made this known at a recent press conference saying;

”The NCDC must have noticed by now, social distancing is a practical impossibility in most urban areas in Nigeria including Kogi state. Many homes are multi-tenanted and many share same or one unitilies.”
