Her friends shared their heartfelt condolences on the social media:
From, Omooba Abayomi, it was a busy day as usual and I finally decided to check my Facebook update and the rude shock post came flashing! RIP olayemi!
What a twist of event, what a life . I’m supposed to be congratulating you today been your NYSC POP but here I am writing a short tribute eulogising your very short but impact – full life. Hard worker, vision pursuer, respectful and thoroughly bred.
Death, you search through who you could lay your cold hands on and find no one except my friend. Ha! How wicked thou art!
Never had the premonition on Aug 7, your birthday when I sent you usual birthday wishes amidst other merry making wishes from other friends. I said” olayemi, wa’dagba, oni kun kekere” little wonder your sun will set at mid-day. Iku doro ooo. Oremi you left when mummy is suppose to seat back and be proud of you.
I’m pained to the marrow at your demise. This is rather too sudden for me to bear. I can hear your voice echoing as you journey through the lonely path to meet with your creator. A lover of God. A believer.
Much said, I can’t question God. May God grant Mummy and your brothers the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss as your gentle soul rest in eternal repose.

I mourn!!! My beautiful, elegant, charming, bossom, dependable and ever trusted FRIEND is dead. Olayemi mi owon, I thought we were going to paddle the canoe of this life together, I never knew that Satan was planning to snatch you away from me. Yemi why cant you arise and prove to us its not true, why cant u put Satan to shame? why??? After all the struggles we have made together, after all the battles we have fought and won, I’m suppose to be congratulating you on your POP from NYSC today after all these years, not condolence messages on your wall. After all the plans we have made for each other, who is going to call me ‘Aronky ore mi’ I am now shattered with pains of not being able to see you again, o mase ooo. Iku doro, Iku seka. Orun ma kanju, gbogbo wa lan bo oooo. God knows best sha! Love u till we meet again dear. May God rest your beautiful soul!
Adeshipo Adekunle: When I get to heaven, one of the questions i hope to get answers to, is why the best of us always go first. You were all full of life the last time we saw on ur birthday. The void you left in the hearts of ur loved ones only God can fill. We love you and wish you stayed with us all the way, but what do we know… We are just men.
Dele Adigun said, I found it difficult to believe you left this world to rest. So sad, it’s just a day to your POP. We miss you and ever miss you. RIP.
