Six traders appeared before the Lagos Island Local Government’s Chief Magistrate Court for allegedly assaulting Lizzy Anjorin. According to blogger Gistlover, Lizzy Anjorin was reportedly caught trying to purchase gold with a fake bank transfer. The police stated that the alleged assault took place on Monday at 1:30 p.m. inside Oba Akintoye Market on Lagos Island, perpetrated by the six defendants and two others who are still at large. Prosecution’s Sola Samuel informed the court that Lizzy Anjorin suffered severe physical harm as a result of the actions of the six traders and the two others who were allegedly involved.
