Famous, talented and beautiful, Nigerian singer Eniola Akinbo, popularly known by her stage name as Niyola, has been involved in a car accident. According to a reliable sources, said she was driving
from Lekki, Lagos, where she had just finished a meeting, in a Honda CRV on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at about 7PM. Niyola while she had just exited the third mainland bridge on her way to the mainland area of Lagos, the accident occurred at the Oworonshoki axis.
Moreso, the source told journalist that a vehicle which was trying to overtake Niyola’s car hit her CRV from behind, which sent the latter’s car tumbling. The car is said to have tumbled three times before hitting a tree by the roadside.
The EME first lady was immediately driven to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. The Honda CRV has also been towed away from the accident spot.
When contacted, a rep of the singer confirmed the accident to journalist and also confirmed that the singer wasn’t driving alone but with a friend. The other passenger is said to be responding to treatment.
‘Yes, it’s true. But she’s okay. It’s unbelievable that they survived,’ the rep said.
