According to The Punch, Simon Ekpa, the self-proclaimed disciple of Indigenous People of Biafra leader Nnamdi Kanu, has officially ended the five-day sit-at-home order in Nigeria’s South-East region.
Ekpa announced the end of the five-day sit-at-home order in a video posted on YouTube on Wednesday night, December 14, calling it “historic and successful” for Biafraland.
Simon Ekpa’s decision to cancel his five-day sit-at-home order is a huge relief.
Meanwhile, Ekpa is accused of being behind a series of illegal sit-ins that have claimed lives, caused injuries, economic loss, and property destruction in Igbo land due to their violent enforcement.
Ekpa declares that there will be no elections in the southeast region in 2023.
In another new development, Ekpa wrote in the video caption that the 2023 elections will not be held in the South-East region, calling it a “sacrifice” that the people of Biafra must make.
He also stated that “ending Nigeria” must be completed by 2023.
The caption reads,
“To end Nigeria in 2023 is a task that must be done! There will be no general election in Biafraland in 2023, it is a sacrifice and a task that must be done by all Biafrans across the globe.
“I am Simon Ekpa, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s disciple on Biafra restoration.”
