Simisola Kosoko, also known as Simi, has lured influencers Ashmusy and Nons Miraj into a film illustrating how African moms act.
A few days ago, a supposedly humorous video was uploaded on Ashmusy’s Facebook, in which she and her colleagues sketch creators, notably Nons Miraj, described how African moms behave at gatherings.
Ashmusy, Nons Miraj, and the other skit creators dressed up as elderly moms in the restaurant, eating quickly and taking photographs in the manner of the elderly when they attend events.
Reacting to the video, Simi has dragged the skit makers as she described the video as a mess. According to her, the picture depicted in the video by the skit makers did not match the reality as many mothers she knows do not behave as such.
She tweeted, “That video about African moms where they looked a mess and were eating like dogs made me mad af. I don’t know anybody’s mom that acts like that. Y’all get your jokes together.”
