Popular Nigerian musician Shallipopi has officially split from the Dapper Music record label.

Rumors had circulated about his departure from the label that helped launch his career in 2023. Now, recent changes on Shallipopi’s social media pages—such as removing Dapper Music’s name from his bio and unfollowing the label’s boss—seem to confirm the split.

This separation comes just months after Shallipopi introduced his own label, Plutomania Records, featuring artists Zerry DL and Tega Boi.
