Seyi Vibez, a quick-rising singer, compares himself to Olamide, a rapper who thrived without the support of a record label, and issues a warning to other rappers who are in competition with him.
On Monday, the musician used his Instagram account to vent his frustration with God-knows-who over a purportedly leaked statement.
Seyi Vibez persisted in boasting that he was self-sufficient in his profession and would achieve success without the aid of a record label. He furthered the comparison by referring to himself as Olamide Badoo’s junior.
He said in the Yoruba language, “I didn’t say you shouldn’t drop the statement. There is loads of music on the ground; normal thing. I am on my own.”
Seyi further shared lyrics of Olamide’s song where it stated, “They said I act like a drug baron. I’m a one-man mopol, I don’t have a record label; where I got to they couldn’t.”
While promoting his latest song, ‘Hatrick’ in another Instastory post, he wrote in Yoruba, “You’re dead if you don’t like me.”
