Seyi Tinubu has finally reacted amid the ongoing social media clash involving VeryDarkMan and King Mitchy.
The president’s son returned to Instagram and shared a snippet of Turbulence by Wizkid and Asake on his story. Following the post, several Nigerians began interpreting the lyrics, suggesting they were connected to VeryDarkMan’s allegations involving Seyi and Mitchy.
The controversy began after King Mitchy publicly criticised VeryDarkMan over school renovation efforts. In response, the online critic alleged that Seyi Tinubu had been financially supporting the influencer since 2023. The dispute escalated further when Mitchy addressed accusations of inappropriate conduct with Seyi, including claims that she was “licking lollipop.”
On Thursday evening, February 26, 2026, Seyi reshared a portion of Turbulence, a song widely known for themes centered on success, self-enjoyment, resilience, and blocking out negativity while staying focused on one’s grind.
The lyrics he posted read:
“Too many lies, Too many people wey no nice, Many many dey over-wise L’eyin ale owuro loku ah ah T’alo mola, gbogbo wa try, ao mo time Owo olorun lowa mi o se mind, Mo kan jaiye mi bi ajebo, oblee (Ehen) Kinni mi ma duro tan ni onlee (Onlee) Kosomo ti mogbe ti o ki n ke (Ki n ke) Me I no dey cap, ọmọ ṣ’oye (Ọmọ ṣ’oye, ṣ’oye),”
