Popular Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay has opened up about how she discovered that her former personal assistant was romantically involved with Tiwa Savage’s ex-husband, Teebillz.
She made the revelation during a recent podcast appearance, where she reflected on past events surrounding her fallout with Tiwa Savage.
According to Seyi Shay, her former PA confessed to the affair sometime after the highly publicized altercation between the two singers in 2021.
It will be recalled that in 2021, a viral video captured Seyi Shay and Tiwa Savage engaging in a heated exchange at a salon, an incident that reignited their long-standing rivalry and kept fans divided.
Speaking during the podcast, Seyi Shay explained that while she was pregnant, her ex-PA admitted during a conversation at a bar that she had been seeing Teebillz, Tiwa’s ex-husband. The assistant apologized, expressing guilt and fear that her actions might have contributed to the feud between the two artists.
An emotional Seyi Shay broke down in tears as she recounted the moment, stating that she had no prior knowledge of the relationship and acknowledged that she would have felt deeply hurt if the situation had been reversed.
