The world governing body FIFA President Sepp Blatter has indicated his interest to run for fifth term in office. He gave a brief insight to his ambition by declaring to Blick; a swiss newspape: “My mission is not yet finished.”
Sepp Blatter is set to announce his intention to run for another tenure at the FIFA congress holding in Sao Paulo in June. He told Blick that “I want to do it because it is not over yet,” Blatter admitted when asked whether he will throw his hat into the ring for the May 2015 elections. “My term is indeed over, but my mission is not yet finished.”
He further stressed that “It is my 10th World Cup,” Blatter added. “I was at my first tournament in 1978, and the one in Brazil will be a great occasion, a tremendous thing.”
Sepp has served at FIFA since 1975 at different capacity and has been FIFA President since 1998.
