Three Senior Secondary School 3 students, Tobi Ojo, Femi Famuyiwa and Olufemi Fagbemu, all in their twenties were today arrested in Ilesa, Osun State for killing a mate of theirs for money ritual.
Last Friday the trio had lured Jacob Ajayi to Jakuta Village in Ilesa, where they killed him, cutting off his head and private part before dumping his remains in a septic tank.
Also arrested alongside the three secondary school students who are presently writing the ongoing Senior School Certificate Examinations was an Octogenarian, the herbalist that told the young lads to bring a dead body for the purpose of money ritual.
The family of the deceased who had been looking for the boy since Friday got lucky when they spotted an Okada man on whose motorbike the victim was last seen. It was the commercial motorcyclist who took them to the house of Famuyiwa where he had dropped him.
After much coaxing and threats, Famuyiwa opened up and told them of the dastardly act.
Men of the Nigerian Police Force, Ilesa and officials of The Ilesa West Local Government were on hand to witness the opening of the septic tank where the remains of the deceased was concealed.
