Staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission today stood guard at the entrance of the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja to prevent erstwhile Director General of the Commission, Ms. Arunma Oteh, from entering the building.
Oteh had been sent on compulsory leave in June in the wake of an investigation into the near-collapse of the country’s capital market launched by the House of Representatives. The staff believe she plans to resume office today.
