Music producer Samklef has called out Afrobeat star Davido over his recent remarks about Sheila, the estranged wife of his aide, Israel DMW. In a viral video, Davido referred to Sheila as a “bi*ch,” suggesting that she would regret missing out on the luxury lifestyle, private jets, and wealth associated with Israel.
Samklef took to his X page to express his disapproval, calling Davido’s comments inappropriate and uncalled for. He emphasized that fellow artists like Wizkid and Burna Boy would never make such remarks. Delivering what he described as a message from God, Samklef questioned how Davido would feel if someone insulted his wife, highlighting a lack of empathy and moral conduct in Davido’s behavior. He urged the singer to seek mentorship and counselling for better guidance.
He wrote: “Wizkid and burna boy will never do this! This is so so wrong! God told me to you this. Dear Davido, you’ve shown a lack of morals by calling Israel ex wife a “bi*tch.” How would you feel if someone called your wife, Chioma, the same? Wasn’t Israel already flying in private jets before your marriage? Why do you lower yourself like this? You seem to lack empathy and morals, but of course, your hypocritical fans won’t see the problem in your childish remark. Happiness doesn’t come from flying in a private jet—you need mentorship and counseling.”
