The manager of the England Roy Hodgson as assured optimistic England supporters that star striker and the man that seems to carry the hopes of millions of England fans Wayne Rooney will light up the tournament after hitting the ground running on the training ground.
With just three weeks left to the start of the greatest football show piece, the Three Lions are preparing ahead of the world cup currently in Algarve in Portugal and later hit Miami for the final phase of the preparation ahead of the world cup. Aside the weather issues in Portugal, training seems to be going on all perfectly.
After torrential rainfall disrupt their training on the second day, England as usuals were surrounded by over 100 journalist and cameramen on their opening day of training but the coach won’t let that affect their preparation ahead of the mundial.
Hodgson said “It feels like the start of a big adventure,” and “This is an excellent place to have a training camp. The first three days have gone as well as I could have possibly hoped for. There’s a long way to go and a lot more days to get through, but we’re off to a good start.
“It’s been a very good three days. If we have the next two days in the same vein as these last three I shall be very happy. I’m finding it tremendous. I’ve really enjoyed being with them these two or three days. I’m impressed by the way they’ve approached this task and are going about their business. They’ve impressed me so many times in the past.”
