Barbadian singer and entrepreneur, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, has picked up a few phrases in Yoruba, one of Nigeria’s native languages.
In a video shared on Instagram by UK-based makeup artist Damilola Adejonwo, also known as Senorfenty, Rihanna can be seen speaking Yoruba at a Fenty event.
During the interaction, Senorfenty was heard teaching the star how to say “Mo wa pa,” meaning “I’m fine.”
He captioned the video:
“Mo wa pa oooooo!!!!! I was telling Rihanna that I am Nigerian and she has to learn Yoruba , so I taught her mo wa pa which means I am doing welll & she wouldn’t stop saying it the entire time . That might be the next single 😂😂😂😂 she is such a vibe.”
