A visit by former chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Malam Nuhu Ribadu to the Ila Oragun home of former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande, has fueled speculations that the former may soon defect to the APC.
Though, what transpired at the closed-door meeting was not disclosed to newsmen, sources said that their discussion which lasted several hours centred on political deliberations, especially, on how Ribadu’s cross-carpeting would be perfected.
Ribadu was a the presidential candidate of the former Action Congress of Nigeria, which merged with other parties to form the APC .
